Pocan B5221XF, a new polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) compound developed by LANXESS for exterior automotive parts, is proving itself in its first series production application.
The Czech automobile manufacturer ŠKODA, an independent brand owned by the Volkswagen Group, is using the new material to manufacture fuel filler flaps. The company’s new compact model SCALA will be the first to be equipped with a Pocan fuel filler flap.
