Easy-flow and extreme-flow grades
 
LANXESS offers both EF (EasyFlow) and XF (XtremeFlow) versions of many Durethan® and Pocan® grades. The flowability of these products is significantly improved compared to standard grades.


Advantages include:

  • Shorter cycle times because parts can be molded using lower melt temperatures.
  • Increased tool life and reduced clamp tonnage due to lower injection pressure requirements.
  • Reduced post-mold warpage compared to equivalent standard grades.
  • Thinner walls with good surface appearance are possible even in highly filled grades (lightweight design).
  • Simplified mold design since fewer gate locations are required.
