Dow withdraws Questra® from its product range | Durethan® and Pocan® as ideal alternatives The Durethan and Pocan brands marketed by LANXESS provides proven as well as newly developed products as ideal alternatives for Questra®, which DOW has taken from the market.
The following table lists products from the Durethan and Pocan range that correspond to individual Questra® grades.

In view of the completely different chemical synthesis and the dissimilar structure of Questra® a straight swap is naturally not possible.
The shrinkage of the Durethan and Pocan products is presented as a main factor in the selection criteria.
Production in existing molds, with the necessary adjustments to the processing parameters, is therefore fairly straightforward. The fulfilment of further important properties is identified by corresponding symbols in the table.
