Pocan B 4235 used for base of energy-saving-lamp |

The lamp base of the Osram energy-saving lamps (available with an E 27 or an E 14 socket) is made of flame-retardant Pocan® B4235 (PBT-GF30 FR).
The two sensors integrated in the base switch the light on automatically as it gets dark and then switch it off again when day breaks. The light can then never be left on by mistake. The switching point can be set individually via a potentiometer.
Pocan® B4235 fulfils all relevant electrical, mechanical and thermal as well as burning behavior conditions for this application.
