Search for a single word
All documents will be found that contain the defined search term.
Example: Automotive
Search for exact matches
If you embed your search string in double quotes, only documents with exact matches will be found.
Example: "automotive industry"
Search for several words
If you type in several search terms, they will be automatically linked together with an "AND". Only documents will be found that contain all defined search terms.
Example: Automotive construction
Search for partial terms by means of "*" - operator
All documents will be found that contain the defined partial terms. Instead of the "*" - operator, any string can appear. You can use the operator at any place of your searchstring.
Example 1: auto*
Example 2: *tomo*
Example 3: au*ive
Similarity search
In addition to the search options mentioned above, you can search for similar terms as well. Therefore please mark the option "Similarity search". In this case all documents will be found that contain either the exact search term or similar terms as well.
Example: automotife (Result: automotive)
