Electric mobility is growing in importance and will determine our future. We, at LANXESS are well prepared. The car of tomorrow is what we are working on today.


Electric mobility is growing in importance and will determine our future. At LANXESS, we see new, more environmentally friendly forms of mobility as a future-oriented growth sector for our Durethan® polyamides, Pocan® polybutylene terephthalates and Tepex® thermoplastic composites. We command a wide range of high-performance polymers for demanding applications. The materials we are developing for new forms of mobility are geared to a number of key areas, in particular electrification of the powertrain for vehicles both with and without a driver and development of the necessary infrastructures and logistics. We are also working on new lightweight materials and technologies, including to help increase the range of electric vehicles.
