The material has to be dried as usual and can be processed on conventional injection molding machines. For the gas / water injection an additional device for pressure generation is necessary. Along with a control system it is possible to create a defined pressure respectively volume profile. Besides special gas / water injectors are required.
Tools
Conventional injection molding tools can be used. For the melt-push-out method the overflow cavities need to be automatically operated, for water injection corrosion-proof steel is recommended.
